CHW Vancouver Centre is a recognized leader on the West Coast in promoting CHW’s mission in passionately supporting programs and services for Children, Healthcare, and Women in Israel and Canada.

Our amazing volunteers are the heart and soul of the organization. They are the reasons why we can positively impact the lives of many women, children, and their families 104 years strong.

Numerous successful CHW fundraising and educational events mark Vancouver's social calendar throughout the year, especially the CHW Vancouver's Annual Campaign, led by an incredible team of experienced volunteer canvassers, which continues to grow every year. Whether our events are on a large-scale or more intimate in size, the funds raised improve the health and well-being of many. 

Together we have fundraised to build safe havens for women and children escaping domestic violence by providing them the opportunity to start over and become independent. We have provided state-of-the-art medical equipment for tiny hearts at the Pediatric Cardiac Care Unit at Hadassah Hospital. We built and furnished graduate dormitories for students transitioning into the next chapter of their lives, such as joining the IDF, finding employment, or continuing their education with post-graduate degrees. We provided entrepreneurship opportunities for students at Nahalal with the exceptional Dairy Program. We supported students who are creating a lasting impact in fashion, sustainability, and the medical field through innovative designs at the Neri Bloomfield Academy of Design. We are still committed to supporting programs at the CHW Hadassim Children And Youth Village, Netanyah Technical High School, Shamir Medical Center, Hadassah Academic College, and our namesake, the CHW Judy Mandleman Vancouver Centre Daycare; in addition to funding new programs and projects. 

Closer to home, CHW supports the Jewish Outreach Leadership Training (JOLT) Program and Canadian Young Judaea.

This year, CHW Vancouver Centre's online fundraising page will track the centre activities and money raised through fundraisers, such as individual campaign donations, cards, and other contributions to CHW.
