Tamid Chapter
| Tamid Chapter was founded in 1988 and is one of the largest chapters in Canada. Many of our members have held positions at the Toronto Centre and at the National Level. Pre Covid we were known for our annual GNO (Girls Night Out) event and since then we have pivoted to online fundraising. Since Covid, we have created innovative virtual fundraising programs that included travelling the world with a series of Tour with Tamid events. We visited Budapest, Tokyo and Florence to name a few.
CHW Toronto Tamid Chapter also collaborated with CHW Centres across Canada on A Work of Heart: Virtual Art Tour and Online Auction in support of the Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Unit (PCCCU) at Hadassah Hospital.
