ATID chapter of Canadian Hadassah WIZO (CHW), Toronto Centre, is a small chapter of women in their late 40s to early 60s who joined together in 1990. Our members include single, married, divorced and widowed women – some with children, and some without – all sharing a common goal and desire to help those in our own community and in Israel who are less fortunate than ourselves.
Our programs include meetings and speakers on a variety of topics, from health care to entertainment to Jewish issues to self-expression and growth. We’ve done crafty activities too, such as hamsa making, paint nights, pottery painting and jewellery making. We also ran the popular and exciting "Housewares and Collectibles" booth at the Hadassah Bazaar for many years!

Most of all, we meet and connect in order to have fun, do some charitable work, and make new friends or foster old ones! We appreciate the support of all our members and contributors!

Past city-wide fundraising events have included:

• Brain Fitness Speaker
... and for the last few years, the popular (and returning!) Passover Tulip Program!

Through involvement in our chapter, our members are challenged and motivated, putting to use their personal and professional skills, allowing them to become leaders in all of their pursuits. We welcome and encourage new members to contact our friendly, down-to-earth chapter.
