There Is Many Like Us - Encore Presentation
Please note: The event is now taking place at the CINEPLEX ODEON MONTREAL FORUM
CHW Montreal has teamed up with March of the Living for an encore presentation of the documentary feature There Is Many Like Us, which recounts the Holocaust tale of Montrealers Rena and Max Fronenberg, directed by Max’s grandson, Josh Webber. Sadly, Max recently passed away and this film serves as a tribute to both him and Rena and their heroic story.
With actual WWII footage, coupled with beautifully shot re-enactment scenes and in-depth interviews, makes There Is Many Like Us a timeless story of love and survival and reveals a side to the Holocaust the world has never seen before.
There will be a Q&A with Josh Webber after the screening.

The proceeds of the evening will be directed to the CHW Hadassim Children and Youth Village, one of the largest residential schools in Israel. It is currently hosting French Na'aleh students who have fled anti-Semitism in their home countries, giving these children hope for a more secure life and brighter future.
