CHW's FALAFEL FEST : A CULINARY SHOWDOWN is a new event featuring a falafel cookoff highlighting some of the top Toronto chef's. Experience an evening of Israeli and Jewish culinary delicacies as CHW Toronto Centre awards the best falafel of the year trophy (with some honourable mentions, of course) to the winning chef at the FALAFEL FEST. An evening in solidarity with Israel, it will also include entertainment, open bar, and a multi-generational crowd as CHW continues to engage the next generation of supporters, proving that we ‘aren’t just your Bubbies’ CHW.’ 

FALAFEL FEST: A CULINARY SHOWDOWN proceeds will benefit CHW’s HEALING YOUNG MINDS: Building Resilience Against Trauma Campaign. Youth mental health challenges after October 7 have reached epidemic proportions in Israel and Canada. Our campaign addresses the critical issues around trauma recovery and PTSD treatment, as well as supporting education to provide hope for the future. CHW’s support is filling the gaps to empower those most at risk.
